I was born in Tartu in 1981 and I grew up in Elva. I graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tartu where I received my Master's Degree.
During my studies, I was a legal solicitor at the Students' Law Office at the University of Tartu (in 2002) and a trainee at the Ministry of Justice (in 2003) and in the National Audit Office (in 2004). After graduating from the university, I started to work as a lawyer in the Agricultural Registers and Information Board (in 2004). I moved from the public sector to the private sector in late 2005 when AS Olerex became my new employer. I became an attorney at law in 2007 when I was working in Glimstedt Law Firm. In 2012, I established RAAVE Law Office.
I have counselled undertakings and their management bodies in issues concerning day-to-day economic activities as well as major transactions; I have successfully represented undertakings in precontractual negotiations and disputes; I have performed legal audits and prepared uncountable numbers of various contracts, legal opinions and other documents. In addition to this, I have counselled and represented clients in solving legal issues related to their personal life (marital property contracts, division of property, maintenance of children and rights of curatorship).
I have diversified experience in project management and teamwork – I was the head of the legal working group of My Estonia 2009 of the civil society movement Let's Do It; I have been a member of the international private banking workgroup at MTÜ FinanceEstonia and a member of the reform workgroup of CAP (Common Agricultural Policy).
I have successfully completed the training for the internal auditors of ISO 9001 quality management systems (in 2012) and the training for the adult training providers (andragogy) (2015).
In my free time, I am interested in design and interior decoration, and I like dancing activities.
